Phoenix

Ed developed the Phoenix spindle May 2019 when a customer requested a spindle big enough to ply up to eight ounces.
Their long sustained spin also makes them great for spinning worsted and chunky yarns.
Weight: from mid-30 grams to mid-50 grams, depending on wood used. Phoenixes are made with domestic USA woods.
Price: $65 ($67+ Unusual, or hard-to-source/non-commercial woods, or designs.)
